How Man, 35, Killed Only Child In Anambra State

Officers of the police Command in Anambra state have exhumed the corpse of a four-year-old boy who was allegedly killed and buried by his father in a shallow grave.

This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed.

According to him, the suspect, Christian Alisigwe, 35, who is from Ihite Azia in Ihiala Local Government area in the state, had killed his son with cutlass.

He said Alisigwe was arrested by officers from Azia Police Station on Thursday, adding that the “Police detectives visited the scene, exhumed and deposited the corpse at Abam mortuary for autopsy after it was certified dead by a medical doctor.”

He said the case was transferred to State CID Awka for discreet investigation.
