Casualties As Another Lagos Building Collapse

A three-storey building collapsed at number 20 Freeman street in Lagos Island killing one and injuring six others.

Naija News understands that the occupants were sleeping when the incidence occured in the early hours of Saturday.

Men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, National Emergency Management Agency, Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning, Lagos State Ambulance Services (LASSMBUS) and many others have arrived the scene of the incident.

The six injured people were rescued from the rubble by officials of the os State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

The dead victim is said to be a boy, whose body has now been taken to the morgue.

it was said that nine or ten people were living in the building, but the search is still ongoing to find the remaining people in the rubble.

This was made known by the Southwest Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Ibrahim Farinloye.
