The draws for the quarter-final stage of Europe’s elite football competition, the UEFA Champions League was done on Friday, 10th July 2020.

The draws confirm the resumption of games that were previously suspended due to the global Coronavirus outbreak.

The draws for the next stage of the competition were confirmed in a tweet from the official Twitter handle of the UEFA Champions League.

If Chelsea are able to overturn a 3-goal disadvantage against Bayern Munich, then they will face Barcelona or Napoli in the next round of the competition.

In other draws, Cristiano Ronaldo may face his former club (Real Madrid) if the Spanish giants overcome the English Premier League club, Manchester City and Lyon also lose to Juventus (Ronaldo’s current club).

All in all, lovers of football generally and fans of the various clubs are in for some exciting games of football as the Champions League resumes.
