Vice President Osinbajo Speaks On Receiving N4bn From EFCC’s Ibrahim Magu.

The camp of Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to the news on social media claiming the embattled EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu gave N4bn to the Vice President from his alleged loot.

Taking to his verified Twitter account on Wednesday evening, Mr. Laoulu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on media and publicity said Osinbajo never received any such amount from Magu.

Ondo Assembly Suspends Deputy Speaker

The deputy speaker of Ondo  State house of assembly Hon Irioju Ogundeji have been placed on indefinite suspension.

Naija News learnt that the deputy speaker Iroju and a member representing Ondo West, Rotimi Williams were suspended for unruly behaviour.

Ivory Coast Prime Minister, Coulibaly Dies At 61

Gon Coulibaly, Prime Minister of Ivory Coast, has died at the age of 61.

Patrick Achi, presidential spokesman, in a statement today, said Coulibaly fell I’ll while the cabinet meeting was ongoing, and was evacuated to a hospital where he passed away.

CAN Attack Alaafin Over Land Dispute

An ongoing land dispute in Oyo town has taken a new curve.

This time, the Christian Association of Nigeria in Oyo town are protesting against the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, after they accused him of playing a huge role in selling 96 plots of land at Ayetoro to some investors.

According to CAN, all attempt to meet with the king, in order to settle the dispute had proved abortive.
