Lebanese Ambassador Walked Out On Nigerian Lawmakers

The Envoy of the Lebanese government, M Houssam Diab allegedly walked out on the  Nigerian lawmakers due to the presence of pressman.

Naija News learnt that  Diab was summoned by the House Committee headed by Rep. Tolulope Akande-Shadipe, to respond to questions on the maltreatment of Nigerians in Lebanon, especially one Temitope Arowolo.

Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, said she was shocked the “Ambassador will just get up and walk out on us”.

She told newsmen the Ambassador honoured the invitation as a mark of respect for the country but was not expecting the media because he was unaware the House records all its meetings.
She, however, warned that Nigerians must be wary of human traffickers masquerading as employment agents.

It will be recalled that several  Nigerian has been trafficked into the middle east country for greener pasture.
