Coronavirus: Police Commence Arrest Of Face Mask Violators

The Lagos State Police Command says it will start arresting residents of the state caught not using a face mask in public.

Naija News reports that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, made this known in an interview with The Nation, adding that the command has arrested 3,802 persons between April and June for not wearing face masks, adding that all the suspects were charged to court and sentenced accordingly.

His words: “We have been enforcing the law. We have arrested 3,802 people for not using face masks and 12,900 suspects were held for flouting various COVID-19 guidelines since the commencement of the lockdown in April.

“They were all charged to court. But we are going to be stricter now because we have noticed that some people do not wear at all while others hang it on their chins. That is not the purpose for the directive.

Hushpuppi ‘Contracts’ Coronavirus In US Prison

Cybercrime suspect, Ramon Abbas, better known as Hushpuppi has reportedly contracted the deadly Coronavirus in US prison.

Naija News reports that the news of Hushpuppi testing positive to Coronavirus is coming days after he was recently arrested in the United Arab Emirates and extradited to the United States. The fraudster is said to be held in a coronavirus infested prison in the United States.

A Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who made this claim in a post on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, quoted a source at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the domestic intelligence and security service of the United States and its principal federal law enforcement agency, to have confirmed Hushpuppi’s Coronavirus status.

TB Joshua Tells Nigeria, Other Countries What To Do To Coronavirus Patients

Prophet TB Joshua, the Senior Pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, has said he is ready to pray for COVID-19 patients in Nigeria and other countries.

The popular cleric called on the government to organize those who are in isolation centres and connect them to him for prayers.

TB Josuha urged everyone to support to make the intercession possible, adding that “we are a team; we are not doing more than you”.

“The blessing of Jesus is for those who knock and ask,” he said.

He said together we shall pray for coronavirus patients and be set free from the deadly COVID-19.
