JUST IN: Ondo Assembly Passes 2024 Budget Into Law

The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Jamilu Maito on Wednesday resigned.

Maito’s letter of resignation was read by the Clerk of the House, Mr Bode Adeyelu, during the plenary session.

Naija News reported earlier that the deputy speaker of Ondo  State house of assembly Hon Irioju Ogundeji was placed on indefinite Suspension.

The deputy speaker Iroju and a member representing Ondo West, Rotimi Williams were suspended for unruly behaviour.

Deputy Speaker Iroju and Member representing Ondo West, Rotimi Williams were both seen outside of the hallowed chambers heckling other members while they addressed the press after the plenary session that led to the impeachment process of the Deputy Governor.
