COVID-19: Nigeria Record Over 12,000 Recoveries

The number of total COVID-19 recoveries in Nigeria has hit 12,108, following the discharge of 280 patients in the lat 24 hours.

This was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), yesternight.

NCDC further confirmed the death of 15 persons as a result of COVID-19 complications across the country., while adding that 503 new infections were recorded in 20 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

79 person have died so far, this week, and this have brought the total number of deaths resulting from COVID-19 in the country up to 669 people.

NCDC listed the number of cases diagnosed in each state. They include; Lagos with 153 cases, Ondo with 73 and Edo with 46, topped the list of new infections confirmed on July 7.

A total of 29,879 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have now been recorded in all states and the FCT.
