Breaking: Magu Moves Personal Belongings Out Of Official Residence

The suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has moved his personal belongings out of an official residence in Maitama.

Recall that the Karu, Abuja residence of Ibrahim Magu, the embattled boss of the EFCC was searched by security operatives on Tuesday evening.

It is understood that the search is connected with the ongoing investigations into allegations of corruption levelled against Magu.

However, it is not clear with the security operatives visited his official residence in Maitama, but information gathered revealed that the suspended EFCC boss has packed his personal properties from the Maitama house

The seven-man panel has concluded its sitting today with a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Kanu Agabi representing Mr Ibrahim Magu.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly picked Mr Mohammed Umar, its Director of Operations, to oversee the agency in the absence of suspended boss, Ibrahim Magu.

Meanwhile, it is still unclear why Mr Magu is being held and has not returned to his personal or official residence.
