Buhari Makes Another Appointment, Returns Danbatta As NCC Boss

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta as the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

The appointment is for a second term for a period of five years.

This was disclosed during plenary on Tuesday by Senate President Ahmad Lawan when he read Buhari’s letter of request for Danbatta screening and confirmation as the NCC boss for a second term in office.
