Akeredolu Fresh COVID-19 Test Result Revealed

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has reportedly tested negative to the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

Akeredolu confirmed he has recovered from the virus in his weekly press briefing on Monday.

According to the Ondo State Governor, doctors confirmed his negative status after running the test twice.

Naija News reports that Akeredolu had last week announced he contracted the virus.

In a post on his Twitter page, the governor disclosed he got the confirmation of a positive result for COVID- 19 last Tuesday morning.

He wrote: “Earlier today, I got confirmation of a positive result for Covid-19. “I am asymptomatic and not displaying any symptoms.

” I am currently self-isolating and supervised home management will be administered by the wonderful team at our Infectious Disease Hospital.

“I ask that we all stay safe and be well.”
