Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the appointment of Reverend Yakubu Pam as the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC). Operatives of the Nigerian Police, Enugu State command have arrested a woman identified as Mrs Ifeoma Ezeugwu for physically assaulting and abusing her 10-year-old maid. According to information made available to newsmen, the woman drilled a nail into the head of her maid and also burnt her skin with hot pressing iron.
President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Ikenna Nweke, a Nigerian PhD student in the University of Tsukuba, Japan, who returned a missing wallet with huge sums of money to the police. Nweke was also said to have turned down the offer of a percentage by the authorities.
