Covid-19 In Ghana: President Nana Akufo-Addo Quarantined

As a precautionary measure, the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has decided to isolate himself for 14 days following the appearance of at least one case of Covid-19 infection in his entourage.

This Sunday, July 05, 2020, a press release from the Ministry of Information, Ghana announced that Akufo Addo is in quarantine. A preventive decision that meets compliance with the COVID-19 protocol. Note that the Head of State has tested negative for the coronavirus.

On Friday, Ghana officially registered 18,000 cases of coronavirus and 117 deaths. To this end, the authorities have put in place measures of self-isolation, social distances and the wearing of masks after the lifting of strict lockdown
