Polygamy Is African And Scriptural – Daddy Freeze

Controversial Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze has made a fresh submission on social media claiming that polygamy is both African and scriptural.

Daddy Freeze in a post on his Twitter page on Thursday, however, added that though polygamy is scriptural, the bible does not encourage it for Christianity.

Citing bible characters who were polygamous, Freeze listed Abraham, David, Solomon, Jacob to support his claims.

Speaking further, Daddy Freeze narrated that God, when chastising David for taking Bathsheba and murdering her husband, told the king that if he had wanted more wives he should have asked him.

He quoted from the book of 2 Samuel, 12:8 which says: “I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more.” (NIV)

Freeze then added that while polygamy was scriptural, LGBT was not, noting that it is the west that are trying to change the narrative.

“Polygamy was scriptural while LGBT was not, how did we allow the west to flip this narrative and swindle us?” he wrote.
