Nigeria Records 790 New Cases Of COVID-19, 166 In Delta

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported seven hundred and ninety confirmed new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

The new cases were confirmed on Wednesday night at exactly 11:54 pm, in a series of tweets on the verified Twitter account of the health agency.

However, the newly reported cases have left many Nigerians in fear as Delta State records the highest daily cases, against Lagos which has always returned with the highest daily cases, except for a time or two.

The newly reported cases as confirmed by the NCDC include 166 in Delta, Lagos-120, Enugu-66, FCT-65, Edo-60, Ogun-43, Kano-41, Kaduna-39, Ondo-33, Rivers-32, Bayelsa-29, Katsina-21, Imo-20, Kwara-18, Oyo-11, Abia-10, Benue-6, Gombe-4, Yobe-2, Bauchi-2 and 2 in Kebbi State.

As of Wednesday, July 1, the overall confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria is 26,484, Naija News understands.
