The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released a provisional list of nominated candidates for the Edo Governorship Election.
Naija News reports that the electoral umpire has scheduled the election for Saturday, September 19, 2020.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as its candidate and Gani Audu as his running mate.
While incumbent, Governor Godwin Obaseki, emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Philip Shaibu, his running mate.
