The Presidency on Sunday said Nigerians can not dictate to President Muhammadu Buhari where to hold his meetings.

Recall that the recently held All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Council (NEC) was held at the Presidential Villa.

2. Ex-Oyo Governor, Ajimobi Buried In Ibadan

The remains of the former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi was on Sunday laid to rest in Ibadan, the state capital.

Naija News reports that the former Oyo State governor was buried according to Islamic rites at his 6th Avenue, Yemoja Street, Oluyole Estate residence amid tight security.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has denied reports that he worked against Governor Godwin Obaseki clinching the gubernatorial ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State.

In an interview with Arise Television, he disclosed that he only insisted everybody should be carried along in the state.

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has denied reports in some quarters that it would not be paying corps members June allowance.

Naija News reports that the NYSC denied the reports of the non-payment of June allowance in a statement to all corps members titled: “RE: NYSC POSTPONES MONTHLY PAYMENT FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE.”
