Coronavirus: Nigeria Records 779 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported seven hundred and seventy-nine confirmed new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

The new figures were disclosed by the health agency on Saturday night at exactly 11:42 pm, in a series of tweets via its verified account on the microblogging site, Twitter.

This brings the overall confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria to 24,077. As at the time this report was given, 8,625 persons have been discharged from the novel virus after testing negative while 558 people reportedly died of related disease.
