PDP Primary: Ortom Sends Congratulatory Message To Obaseki

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, has sent a congratulatory message to the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, for emerging as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the governorship election in the state.

Recall that the Edo State Governor had 1952 votes to clinch the ticket of the party on Thursday out of the total accredited 2,024 delegates.

Ortom in a statement released through his spokesman, noted that Obaseki’s victory in the peaceful and transparent primaries affirmed the internal democracy within PDP and the party’s capacity to provide greater development to Edo people under the present administration.

He further stated that Obaseki will maximize the goodwill shown to him by the people of Edo State and would continue to be selfless in his serve to them in the next four years.

The Benue State Governor, charged the people of Edo State to keep supporting their Governor to enable him to succeed.
