Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Friday took a swipe at the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over recent happenings within the party.

It will be recalled that based on recent developments within the APC, some analysts have said the political dynasty of Tinubu seems to be crumbling ahead of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

Notably, former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode claimed that the recognition of Victor Giadom as the National Chairman of the APC by President Muhammadu Buhari signals the end of Bola Tinubu politically.

Fani-Kayode stated that Bola Tinubu has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics.

“First Oshiomole is kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his arch-rival, Giadom, is recognized by Buhari as Nat. Chairman. Conclusion: it is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus & retired from politics!” Fani-Kayode wrote on Twitter.

Similarly, Reno Omokri, former presidential aide during the administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan laughed at Tinubu, noting that the APC chieftain is gradually fading off political relevance in the country.

Omokri on Thursday morning said that the fate that befell Afonja is now befalling the former Lagos State Governor.

“Bola @AsiwajuTinubu thought he was doing @GEJonathan Now, look at Jonathan. Face of Democracy in Africa. Feted by the world. A Global statesman,” Omokri tweeted.

He added, “Now, look at Tinubu. The fate that befell Afonja is befalling him! By their TEETH he shall know them!”

Perhaps adding his voice to the ongoing saga, Mazi Kanu said on Friday that he had warned Tinubu that his actions will end in shame.

Kanu said more happenings will soon occur.

He wrote: “#Tinubu #Tinubu #Tinubu: How many times during my recent broadcasts did I tell you that you will come back in SHAME after SERVING the #Fulani? First was Alimi of Ilorin, then Akintola, followed by Awolowo, then Abiola & now you TINUBU. When will YORUBA learn? More to come!

It will be recalled President Buhari’s decision to back Victor Giadom as the acting National Chairman of the APC is understood in some political quarters to be a move against the structure of Adams Oshiomhole and Bola Tinubu in controlling the party.

Meanwhile, Thursday’s National Executive Committee meeting of the All Progressive Congress was not witnessed by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

As explained by Bashir Ahmad, President Buhari’s personal assistant on new media, Tinubu did not attend the June 25 NEC meeting at the Aso Rock Villa because he is not a member of the council.
