Okowa announced this via his verified Twitter and Instagram account earlier today after one of his daughters tested positive to the COVID-19 disease.
His tweet read: “Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated.”
Naija News Understands that Delta State Government has recorded over 609 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 159 recoveries and 22 dead victims.
