Important Information As N-Power Portal Opens For 2020 Recruitment

The recruitment portal for the federal government social intervention scheme, N-Power is set to officially open on Friday, 26th June 2020.

As previously disclosed by the federal government, 400,000 candidates will be picked from the pool of applicants after successfully passing through all the screening processes.

All applications will be done online.

Ahead of the official commencement of the process, administrators of the N-Power scheme have been releasing guidelines and instructions that should be adhered to by prospective beneficiaries.

In the latest update obtained by Naija News as released on the official twitter handle of the scheme on Thursday, applicants are advised not to input their details on any platform that has not been verified on the N-Power platform.

Intending applicants are also advised to follow N-Power social media pages for authentic updates and information.

It wrote: “Dear 2020 N-Power Applicants, Very IMPORTANT information. 1. DO NOT input your details on any platform that we have NOT put up on our verified N-Power platform. 2. ALL intending applicants MUST follow N-Power on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for authentic updates and info.”

Similarly, in preparation for the reception of new beneficiaries, N-Power also revealed in a tweet on Tuesday, 23rd June on its official handle that those who will be eligible for recruitment must be:

1. Currently unemployed

2. Be between 18 – 35 years old

3. Desire lifelong skills to become solutions providers in their community.

The new Batch of beneficiaries (Batch C) are expected to come online after Batches A and B transit on June 30 and July 31, 2020 respectively into entrepreneurship schemes.

The N-Power scheme is a social intervention scheme introduced in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari, as a two-year programme for graduate and non-graduate Nigerians between the ages of 18-35.

The beneficiaries enjoy N30, 000 monthly stipend, and devices during the duration of their stay in the scheme in exchange for services offered including teaching, agric extension services, health, etc.
