Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide Ihama has reportedly stepped down for Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, in the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party’s primary ahead of the state’s governorship election.

The member representing Oredo Federal Constituency in this state reportedly promised to withdraw the court case he filed against the embattled governor today.

This is coming a few hours after Naija News reported that the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, has delayed an accelerated hearing on a suit seeking to stop Godwin Obaseki, the Edo State Governor, from contesting the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party.
