APC Crisis: Giadom’s Suspension Has Not Been Lifted, He Is A Cheat – Hilliard Eta Says

The Factional Acting Chairman of the All Progressive  Congress party, Mr Hillard Eta has received the report of the just concluded Edo governorship primary from Governor Hope Uzodinma led committee.

Eta who appreciated the  Imo State Governor for his doggedness towards the exercise of the primaries also revealed that the party is in united force to win the upcoming election in September.

Eta also berated Victor Gaidom led faction for continuously causing division within the party. He, therefore, described Gaidom as a cheat, impostor and confusionist. Speaking further, Eta said Gaidom has no legal right to convene the national executive council meeting because he is still suspended.

“As we speak, the membership of Victor Giadom has been suspended by a competent court of jurisdiction in Port Harcourt this afternoon. Not only is he no longer a member of the NWC, for today his membership has been suspended,” he said as a copy of the court judgement was made visible.

He also revealed the resolution of the NWC members present at the meeting to acknowledge and accept the letter indicating the lifting of Mr Oshiomhole’s suspension by its primary constituency in Ward 10 Etsako West LGA of Edo State.

Mr Oshiomhole’s suspension by the Edo APC was recently validated by the appeal court. However, a faction of the party in his ward has announced the lifting of the suspension while the main faction has insisted the suspension is ongoing.
