Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Victor Giadom who recently claimed the office of the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to act in the place of Abiola Ajimobi, are reportedly seeking to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News understands that the two politicians had visited the presidential villa on Tuesday, June 23, to hold a closed-door meeting with the president but unfortunately could not achieve the aim as the president was reportedly out of office.

It was reported that have met with the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.

Naija News recalls that Giadom had earlierĀ scheduled the All Progressive Congress National Executive Council meeting to hold at the presidential villa on Thursday, June 25.

However, contrary to Giadom’s notification on the meeting, members of the national working committee, NWC, loyal to the former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has stated that Eta Hilliard, vice-chairman south-south, would act on behalf of Ajimobi who is currently living on a life support machine after testing positive for COVID-19 a few days ago.
