13,000 People Apply For Amotekun Job In Osun
The development was disclosed on Wednesday (today) by the state Director General of Amotekun Operation, Amitolu Shittu.
The Osun State chapter of the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed ‘Operation Amotekun, said thirteen thousand people have filled the form for employment into the security outfit after the government declared open a portal to recruit able men into the newly established outfit.
The development was disclosed on Wednesday (today) by the state Director General of Amotekun Operation, Amitolu Shittu.
Shittu noted that the recruitment exercise started on June 15, following an order by the State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola to recruit men into the Amotekun Corps. The DG noted that the exercise ended since last week Friday, but was later extended till Tuesday.

Shittu revealed further that successful applicants would soon be shortlisted soon and would be subjected to other tests.
Meanwhile, Governor Hope Uzodinma has been condemned by the South-East APC Youth Integrity Group, over the alleged marginalization of founding members of the All Progressives Congress in the state.
