1. Presidency Reveals Plans For N-Power Batches A, B Beneficiaries

The Presidency has revealed that the federal government will transit the batches A and B of the social Investment scheme, N-power to other entrepreneurial schemes.

Naija News reported earlier that Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, had revealed that enrolment of the third batch of N-Power beneficiaries begins next week.

2. Tanker Explodes on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A petrol tanker has exploded at the Kara axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Sunday morning.

Naija News reports that many people were trapped on the bridge when the explosion occurred.

3. Ondo State Deputy Governor Resigns From APC

The Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Hon Agboola Ajayi, has dumped the All Progressives Congress {APC).

Ajayi tendered his resignation letter from the APC on Sunday at Ward 2, Apoi in Eseodo local government, and immediately picked membership card of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

4. Doctors Suspend Indefinite Nationwide Strike

The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has announced the suspension of its indefinite strike action beginning from tomorrow Monday.

The Doctors decided to suspend their industrial action after reaching an understanding with the Federal Government.

5. Delta State SSG, Commissioner of Information Contract COVID-19

Delta State Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Chiedu Ebie and the State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

This was made known by the Delta State Government in a post on its official Twitter page on Sunday.

Ayodele Fayose, a former Governor of Ekiti State, has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari for the recent crisis rocking the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has revealed that some Governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are supporting his re-election bid.

The Edo State governor made this known on Saturday at the Abuja national secretariat of the PDP shortly after he was screened for the June 25 governorship primary election of the PDP.

8. Ondo 2020: ‘You People Cannot Repeat What Happened In 1983 In Ondo State’ – Ajayi Dares Akeredolu

The deputy governor of Ondo state, Mr Agboola Ajayi, has warned against a repeat of what happened in the state in 1983.

He made the statement during a faceoff with security operatives led by the state commissioner of police, Bolaji Salami.

9. Rivers APC Suspends ‘National Chairman’ Giadom

The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the factional National Chairman of the party, Victor Giadom.

Livingstone Wechie, the Media Adviser to the Acting Chairman of APC in Rivers, Igo Aguma, said the former Deputy National Secretary was suspended over alleged acts of gross infractions of the party’s Constitution.

10. Premier League: Giroud Scores As Chelsea Defeat Aston Villa

Chelsea turned things around on the field of Aston Villa (2-1) today, Sunday, during the 30th day of the Premier League .

Led before the break with a goal by Kortney Hause (43rd), the Blues of Frank Lampard overturned the match thanks to achievements by Christian Pulisic (60th) and Olivier Giroud (62nd).
