Federal Government Releases N432bn Fund For Nigerian Farmers
The central bank of Nigeria has injected fresh four hundred and thirty-two billion Niara fund for farmers Under its Anchor Borrowers’ Programme in Abuja.
Naija News learnt the Apex Bank released the fund to assist the farmer in Nigeria as it unveiled plans to release a framework for integration of non-interest window in all its intervention programmes, particularly the Anchor Borrowers’ Programme (ABP).
The Director of Development Finance at the CBN, Mr Yusuf Yila, who made this known at a meeting organised for farmers under its Anchor Borrowers’ Programme revealed that the intervention is expected to produce over 8.3 million metric tonnes of the targeted commodities.
