Two Dies As FRSC Patrol Vehicle Rams Into Shop In Bauchi

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has lost three of its officials to recent lightning in Ogun State, Naija News reports.

According to the report, the three officers serving at the state command of the service were struck to death at their office located at Old Ilese Tollgate.

Naija News learnt that the horrible incident occurred at about 10 am on Wednesday, June 17 while the three FRSC officials were setting out for the early morning parade.

Reports revealed that about ten officials were at the scene of the incident but only three were struck to death.

Speaking on the event, the state’s FRSC Command’s Public Education Officer, Florence Okpe revealed that, “So, we were informed. But, my sector commander has just gone there to find out what really happened.”

“I cannot give any report until when he comes back to give us details of what really happened.”

In another news, the spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command, Haruna Mohammed, in a statement a few hours ago confirmed loss of two lives in a deadly road accident at the state’s economic hub, Onitsha.
