Covid-19: Sanwo-Olu Explains Why Schools Are Still Closed In Lagos

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has explained why schools in the state are still closed.

Sanwo-Olu made this known while speaking at a press briefing at the State House in Marina.

He said his government is not yet ready with the guidelines for reopening schools

Recall that about two weeks ago, the governor had promised that the guidelines would be made public.

According to him, schools cannot be allowed to reopen with the increasing cases of COVID-19  in the state.

According to Sanwo-Olu, his government was finalising the protocols to reopen basic and secondary schools, noting that meetings were currently being held with stakeholders
