Obaseki: Wike Was Not Addressing Us – Nigerian Governor Forum Says

Fayemi led Nigeria Governors Form (NGF) has debunked the statement attributed to one of its members, Nyesome Wike over the alleged unjust disqualification of Godwin Obaseki from the upcoming All Progressive Congress primary election in Edo State.

Naija News understands that Wike was not happy with the treatment melted on his friend, Obaseki. Wike also berated his fellow governors who kept mute and allowed Oshiomhole to ‘destroy’ his political career.

Meanwhile speaking on the statement by Wike, that described the NGF as being a “beggars forum and a “toothless Bulldog”  Fayemi’s media representative at the governor’s forum Abdulrazaque Bakindo, said the controversial comment could not have been made by the Rivers State governor.

Bakindo said Wike must have been attacking the Progressive Governors Forum which is the political platform of APC Govs. The NGF has six core mandate areas and politics isn’t one of them.
