Borno state Commissioner For Agriculture, Bukar Talba, has been captured on flogging women in a video which has gone viral.

The Commissioner was seen publicly flogging women and chasing them out of a public gathering.

Details of the video are not yet known, however the Social Welfare Officer, Dogo Shettima, claimed that those who were being flogged were not the “real beneficiaries of the food items , so they must be convicted “.

He wrote “Mischief don’t work on those who God has them stand among men . These are unmarried and not part of the beneficiaries of palliative support . Those been caned and drove away are not aged, widows , disabled or real beneficiaries of the food items , so they must be convicted .”
