Nigeria Records 501 New Cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Saturday, June 13 reported five hundred and one confirmed new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

The NCDC confirmed the new cases on Saturday night at about 11:42 pm on its verified official account on the microblogging site, Twitter. This brings the overall confirmed cases of the novel virus in Nigeria to 15682 with records of 5101 patients discharged, while 407 reportedly died.

Meanwhile, about 22 doctors and 60 other health workers have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus disease in Rivers State Government, Naija News reports.
