COVID-19: FCT Seals Off Jabi Mall Over Naira Marley

Following the violation of the restriction order placed on large gatherings the Federal Government in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19, the federal capital territory administration (FCTA) has sealed off the Jabi Lake mall.

Recall Naija News reported that Naira Marley hosted a concert at the mall yesterday.

Pictures and videos emerged from the concert, showing people apparently flouting social distancing measures.

The musical event was planned as a drive-in concert but it failed to conform to the planned arrangement.

This cause a controversy which led Nigerians to call for disciplinary measures against the singer and the organisers.

It was not immediately clear if any action has been taken against the musician who had arrived from Lagos on a chartered flight.
