Major-General Orho Obada (Rtd), a former Federal Commissioner for Works, has died after a brief undisclosed illness.
The former Minister who hailed from Agbarho Kingdom in Ughelli North council area reportedly died on Saturday night.
Confirming his death, sources with the Urhobo Progressives Union (UPU) said the retired military officer was reported to have fallen sick early last week.
The former Minister of aged 81 years at the time of his death.
Maj.-Gen. Obada was the chairman, Board of Trustee of the apex socio-cultural body of the Urhobo people (UPU).
