Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has alleged that over one million Nigerians have been killed under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a post on his Twitter page to mark the country’s Democracy Day, he said many citizens have been denied justice under Buhari.

Fani-Kayode claimed properties and the Nigerian economy have been destroyed in the last five years.

He wrote: “Over 1 million slaughtered over the last 5 years, economy destroyed, poverty entrenched, tyranny established, justice denied, yet we still STAND!

“We are strong. We are resilient. We are courageous. We refuse to bow and in the end, we SHALL prevail!

“Happy Democracy Day Nigeria!”

Naija News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has set aside today, June 12 as Nigeria Democracy Day, replacing May 29, which was initially celebrated as Democracy Day in Nigeria.
