Rape has indeed become an epidemic the nation and drastic measures are taken to curb it, more violation will continue to surface from perpetrators of the condemnable act.
Cases of rape in Nigeria has become a trending headline on newspapers and other news outlets in recent times.
The situation was brought to the forefront of discussions following the gruesome murder of Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, the 22-year-old 100-level student of the University of Benin.
Naija News recalls Omozua was raped and then murdered by her assailants while she was reading in a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Benin City.
Nigerian singer, Djinee, recently alleged that our parents have failed woefully in the male child upbringing, and hence the reason for the increase in s*xual harassment among other crimes by the male child.
According to the singer, parents focused more on training and showing concern for the female child than the opposite gender. In as much as one tries to shy away from the above claim, looking at recent happenings, one may want to partially admit that it is true.
However, when a child is birthed, he/she is expected again to rebirth himself or herself. No reason justifies rape.
While authorities are playing their parts in dealing with the occurrence of the act, women at this moment should also be at alert, smart in escaping rape from unreasonable individuals.
In this regard, there is a remedy called the ‘Pepper Spray’, this has saved a lot of women from been violated in developed countries. It would at a point save you from been forcefully violated if you act fast.

The locally-made pepper spray is referred to as ‘Home-made Pepper Spray’. As stated above, it has helped many girls and matured women in developed countries to wade off rapists and thieves.
What is needed:
Get yourself dried ground pepper, put in a spray bottle, add ethanol (alcohol) better known as Spirit, shake the mixture and your pepper spray is ready for use.
Note: Adding water to it could make it go bad in a few days.
