FCT Releases Guidelines For Reopening Of Religious Centres

The Minister of FCT, Muhammed Bello, has released the guidelines for reopening of worship centres across the Federal Capital.

Recall that the ban on religious gathering across the country was lifted by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.

Bello during a meeting with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Abuja chapter and League of FCT Imams, noted that some guidelines must be adhered to in worship centres.

The Minister called on all religious centres to use the opportunity to pray fervently for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Worshippers must sanitize their hands before entry. Provision of temperature checks before entry.”

“Mandatory use of facemasks.”

“Churches and mosques within FCT must reduce the capacity of their facility to allow for physical distancing.”
