London football club, Spurs, has in a recent statement disclosed that it recorded a new case of novel COVID-19 disease following a recent examination of players and staffs by the league board.

The London football club, in a recent statement, disclosed that it recorded a new case of novel COVID-19 disease following a recent examination of players and staffs by the league board.
The club, however, did not reveal the name of the individual that contracted the dreadful disease.
The club’s statement on its official website reads; “We have been informed by the Premier League that we have received one positive test for COVID-19.”
“Due to medical confidentiality, the individual’s name will not be disclosed.”
“They are currently asymptomatic and will now self-isolate for seven days, in line with Premier League protocol, before undergoing further testing.”
