A recent poll that cuts across 16 English Premier League clubs has declared UEFA Champions League winners, Liverpool FC as UK’s most liked football club.

The poll stats gathered from club fans considering a variety of factors saw the Reds leading as the most likeable football club in the UK.

According to the poll result from YouGov, a British international Internet-based market research and data analytics firm, Liverpool who are at the verge of winning the 2019/2020 English Premier League game can count on the support of 8.3 per cent of the population.

The overall present status of the club has won them huge support from admirers even outside their fanbase.

Liverpool beats their counterparts to emerged the UK’s favourite club on the bases of club management, squad, fan culture, traditions and style of play.

The poll revealed Manchester United with 6 per cent of the population, emerging second on the list of the most liked club in the UK, while the likes of Manchester City, Newcastle and Wolves were also found to be likeable clubs despite not having the largest fanbases.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC who has a huge fanbase only emerged sixth in the poll.
