Just In: Lagos Govt Reveals When Decision To Reopen Schools Will Be Made

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed that the decision to reopen schools in Lagos State will be made in the next two weeks.

The Lagos State Governor made this known on Thursday during his daily briefing on coronavirus (COVID-19) at the Government House in Marina.

Sanwo-Olu said: “In two weeks, we would make a decision on the reopening of schools.

“We are looking at the educational centres very differently”.

According to Sanwo-Olu, his administration will enforce strict compliance with all safety precautions.

Meanwhile, Governor Sanwo-Olu also revealed that religious centres will be allowed to open in Lagos State from June 19.

He stated that Mosques will reopen on June 19 while churches will open on June 21st.
