The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that the British government “doesn’t want the light to shine in Africa.”

Naija News reports the IPOB leader, who is on exile, made this claim on Wednesday, June 3, during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra.

The IPOB leader, who is also the Director of Radio Biafra, alleged that the British have always been against Africa for “nearly 390 years”, adding that it “didn’t start today.”

Speaking further, Kanu said British Broadcasting Corporation, a British public service broadcaster, was against Biafra during the civil war and that there was a media blackout on Biafra during the war.

The IPOB leader said: “BBC was against us during the war, there was a media blackout on Biafra during the war, we have traced their conspiracy back to the house of laws.

“England doesn’t want the light to shine in Africa it didn’t start today, they have been doing this thing for nearly 390 years it didn’t start today.”

In a related development, Kanu has again insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.

Naija News reports the IPOB leader released pictorial evidence to back up his claim that “Buhari is no more” on Wednesday, June 3, during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra.

Kanu released a group picture of President Buhari and Bukola Saraki, a former President of the Nigerian Senate and Femi Gbajabiamila, the current Speaker of the House of Representatives and said the “picture is a confirmation that Buhari is no more.”
