Former United States vice president and Democratic presidential aspirant, Joe Biden has schooled President Donald Trump in a recent statement over his reaction towards protest staged by citizens who stood before the White House to decry George Floyd‘s demise.

Naija News understands that the United State President on Monday deploy security men to disperse protesters at the White House, noting that he is a law and order president.

The president was forced to move into a Church very close to the White House as security men threaten protesters with rubber bullets, tear gas and flash grenades to send them away from the massive gathering.

The United States president, however, stood before the St. John’s Episcopal Church with a Bible in his hand chanting “we have the greatest country in the world.”

Biden in his reaction to the US president’s action during a press briefing in Philadelphia, condemned the dispersion of the protesters, describing it as a breach against citizens freedom of speech as contained in the US constitution.

The democrat advised the president to read through the Bible he was holding to understands better how to express love to people. He noted that though loving people could hard “but it’s the work of America”.

He said, “When peaceful protestors dispersed in order for a President, a President, from the doorstep of the people’s house, the White House, using tear gas and flash grenades in order to stage a photo op — a photo op — on one of the most historic churches in the country, or at least in Washington, DC, we can be forgiven for believing the President is more interested in power than in principle, more interested in serving the passions of his base the needs of the people in his care.”

“The President held up the Bible at St. John’s church yesterday. I just wish he opened it once in a while instead of brandishing it.”
