Kaduna Gov’t Confirms 31 New Cases Of COVID-19
Governor Nasir El-Rufai has confirmed the discharged 15 COVID-19 patients in the state after testing positive for the novel virus.
Kaduna State government has confirmed thirty-one new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
The development was disclosed in a tweet on Monday by the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who revealed that the state has discharged 15 COVID-19 patients after testing negative for the novel virus.
El-Rufai confirmed on his verified Twitter account that the new cases were recorded in Zaria, Kaduna North and Sabon-Gari.
His tweet reads; “Covid-19 Update: 15 patients are due for discharge. Out of 145 samples tested today, 31 were positive: 20 in Zaria, 5 in Sabon-Gari and 6 in Kaduna North.
“The cases are mostly contacts of other cases. A further rise in cases is anticipated as more tests are conducted.”

Meanwhile, four hundred and sixteen new cases of Coronavirus was reported on Monday, June 1 by Nigeria by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases of the novel virus in Nigeria to 10578, Naija News understands.
