Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State has reviewed total lockdown order earlier issued in a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

Naija News has been informed that Governor Masari has consented to relax the COVID-19 movement restriction and social gathering in the state to now allow worship centres to resume their activities.

According to the report, Muslim faithful in the state has been granted permission to observe the usual Friday congregational prayers from now on.

Also, Christian worshipers in the state have been granted permission to conduct Sunday Church services, while movement between local governments in the state has also been allowed.

However, the state government urged citizens to ensure compliance with all guidelines made available by the health sector as a precaution to battling the spread of the killer virus.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Thursday, May 28 confirmed one hundred and eighty-two new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
