China Bans Ighalo, Others From Returning As Man Utd Deal Expires

Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has been banned from returning to China after his deal with English Premier League side, Manchester United expired.

According to Daily Mail, foreign players may not have the chance to return to China until October, although the new season commences in June.

A further report revealed that about a third of the Chinese Super League players are currently outside of China and face being refused entry until much later in the year.

The former Super Eagles player is among the players and manager held outside China, including Dalian Yifang manager Rafa Benitez.

The manager of the 30-year-old striker, Ladi Salami, has hinted that the Nigerian striker might end up remaining in the UK.

Salami further stated that an extension at the Old Trafford is close to being agreed. Ighalo joined United on a six-month loan deal in January, which expires on May 31.

He has scored four times in eight appearances.
