Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 138 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

Kogi State has only conducted one COVID-19 test since the outbreak of the coronavirus infection in Nigeria.

This was disclosed in the report published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday where it revealed the number of COVID-19 tests conducted around the country.

According to the NCDC data, a total of 35,983 samples have been tested in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Lagos state leads with the highest number of samples so far tested in the state put at 14,886 while the FCT and Kano follow with 4,688 and 2,653 respectively.

Naija News reports only Kogi and Cross River states are yet to record any positive case of COVID-19, and each state has tested one and seven samples respectively.

All tests conducted in both states returned negative.
