Madagascar Demands N78 Million From Nigeria For Coronavirus Herbal Remedy

The Republic of Madagascar has demanded that Nigeria pay N78.2 Million for the amount of its Coronavirus Herbal Remedy sent to the Federal Government.

Naija News had reported earlier that President Muhammadu Buhari received the Madagascar Coronavirus Herbal Remedy over the weekend from Guinea Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo, who visited the President at the State House in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

9 Soldiers Wounded, 20 Boko Haram/ISWAP Members Killed As Troops Clash With Terrorists In Borno

The Nigerian Army has reported that its troops killed 20 Boko Haram and Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), terrorists on Sunday at the North-West of Baga town in Borno State.

According to information made available in a statement to newsmen on Monday in Abuja by the Coordinator of Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, the terrorists were heading to attack villages surrounding Baga when the troops attacked their convoy with overwhelming firepower.

Dokpesi Bans AIT From Airing Son’s COVID-19 Comments

Raymond Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR Communications Plc, has directed African Independent Television (AIT) to stop broadcasting comments made by him and his son after their recovery from coronavirus (COVID-19).

Naija News recalls that Raymond Dokpesi Jnr, Chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, had complained that he was discharged having earlier contracted COVID-19, without seeing results of tests conducted by the agency.

Lack Of Job Forced Me To Join Politics – Rotimi Amaechi

Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi has disclosed that he had no initial plan to join politics but unemployment forced him into it.

According to the APC chieftain, who among several other enviable political achievements was also the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly noted that though he was exposed to politics right from his young age, he didn’t nurse the idea of building a career in politics.
