Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church (aka Winners’ Chapel) has identified the coronavirus pandemic as a ‘demon’ that is launching an attack against the church.

The fiery clergyman, however, noted that the virus will soon become history as God will wage war against whatever attempts to kill the church.

Bishop Oyedepo made the declaration during a broadcast to his church members who are at home due to the closure of churches as a result of the lockdown declared due to coronavirus.

Naija News recalls that despite the gradual ease of lockdown approved by the government after the total lockdown, worship centres were not included in the list approved to re-open.

While speaking on the impact of the continued closure of churches as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bishop Oyedepo has however declared the coronavirus dead.

He lamented that the virus has kept many people across several nations of the world indoors for too long and therefore prophetically declared an end to the virus.

He said, “There shall be an outbreak of revival across every church, every ministry, as an aftermath of this noisome pestilence.

“Coronavirus will become history. It will be cheaper than malaria fever. It will become extinct. Coronavirus is declared dead.

“Whatever wants to kill the church, God will kill it. So, the church comes against you coronavirus and you are grinded (sic) to powder.
