Emir Of Daura Recovers From Coronavirus, Speaks On His Experience

The Emir of Daura, Umar Faruk has spoken of his experience after recovering from the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking on Saturday after he fully recovered from the infection, the Emir noted that COVID-19 is no joke and called on all Nigerians to support government efforts in containing the disease.

Naija News reports the Emir was discharged two days ago from the Federal Medical Centre in Katsina.

Speaking on Saturday, the Emir stated that the COVID-19 pandemic had ushered in a “dangerous period” for the world and called on people to return to God.

“All praises be to Almighty Allah for taking us through this time, the most dangerous period in the entire world,” The PUNCH quoted him as saying.

“I want to draw the attention of the people world over that the current pandemic is not a joke hence people should fear God and return to God.

“If the world is not settled, people should not expect anything good even if you are physically healthy. Let the governor know that I am now fully recovered.”

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is from Daura in Katsina State.
